Your initial visit to Dr Madosky's office will begin with a case history. A full case history, and any important past or family history, will provide Dr. Madosky with a clear understanding of the nature and extent of your problem. It will also help assist in evaluating whether chiropractic is appropriate for your condition. Dr. Madosky will then perform a general physical exam, plus a detailed exam of the spine and the musculoskeletal system (the system of muscles, bones, and nerves) to find the cause, not merely the symptoms, of your problem. In some cases, Dr. Madosky will request that x-rays or lab procedures (such as blood and urine analysis) be taken in order to rule our disease and to help evaluate your overall health.

Following these examinations, Dr. Madosky will give a detailed explanation of your condition and the options available to you for treatment.

Depending on your needs, Dr. Madosky will outline a treatment program that may include chiropractic, acupuncture, nutrition and mind/body integration techniques to help you re-energize your health.  Your personalized program will also include stretches and exercises to support positive change for your body.  Dr. Madosky will also provide you with tips on daily activities; work and recreation that will help you heal and prevent future injuries.
